Visited tonight for the first time. First off the wait staff is excellent! The cookies and wraps are delicious, live music was also awesome. I'll be back!

Great local staple with historical ties to the community as an establishment. I came on Wednesday night to enjoy the open mic. Ordered a cappuccino that was so good I’d wrestle someone’s grandma for it.

Superb place to hang out every weekend.

Came out for Taco Tuesdays. Chill atmosphere outdoors with good music, perfect following a tough work day. Great food for a good price too. Both the shrimp tacos and steak tacos had some zip. Beyond the tacos, I'd say VZD's has the best Black Bean Burger in town.

Good place to hang and eat some good food. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. Prices were good for how much you get.

The food is great with large portions. They have great live bands. I really enjoyed the time I spent there.

VZD's is an icon of North western ave. Located in a popular food, club, entertainment area. Awesome French fries, adult beverages, sandwiches, live entertainment on weekends. We attended the British envation group playing music from the '60's. The drummer, Bobby is one of my class mates. Friendly, attentive service. Parking can sometimes be found just to the north of the building.

First time going there. Nice small venue to see a band with friends and have a meal and a couple of brews.

Nice place for a bite and live music. Laid back atmosphere and good selection of cocktails at about average price. The "Old Fashion" draft is a solid choice at a mere $2. Food was quick and good. The nachos were enough for 3. Sounds quality was also good and not really a bad seat in the house.

VZD’s is my favorite place to go for live music and good food and drinks. The service is always top notch. I recommend their hummus plate and Moscow mules.

New food is great! Service has also been great the times I have been there.

Asian Chicken salad was too vinegary for my taste. Beef Stroganoff and Carrot Cake were absolutely delicious.

Not only was the service fantastic but the staff and atmosphere personable and enjoyable. The talent for karaoke was mind blowing!! I also left my cell and they CHARGED it and returned it!! Absolutely will be returning!

All workers are wearing PPE, they are practicing social distancing, and the food is fresh and delicious. This just became one of the few places we will eat at now!

The live music was great. The major detractor was all of the TVs. It was very distracting while the band played. I recommend displaying a logo or maybe drink specials instead of sports nobody came to see.

Saw Albert Cummings perform at VZD'S had a great time. the food and beers was good and the service was awesome look forward to come back again sometime.

Ordered the John Wayne burger to go which is $15. It's a burger stuffed with brisket, grilled onions, BBQ sauce and cheddar with home made chips. The burger was raw on the inside. Not rare. Raw. Mushy and cold like the brisket, which was missing BBQ sauce. Seriously think it came out of the fridge. The chips were nasty as well. The only taste they had was not pleasant. Massively disgusting and overpriced experience. Would rather get a Tuckers Burger for the price.

Love the private balcony area for meetings, fun atmosphere, and good was wonderful! Loved the onion rings!

The place was very nice. My friend and I ordered lobster Mac n Cheese and The Gene Autry brisket Sandwich. Neither tasted good. The lobster wasn’t fresh, it had a “fishy” taste. The sandwich was NOT brisket. It was dry pot roast mixed with ground beef. We didn’t even eat half the food. The waitress asked us as soon as we got the food if everything was OK. From looks everything looked fine. But she never asked again. So when I asked how the sandwich was made, that’s when she told me they use a slow cooker for the “brisket” and then mix it with the ground beef. The “brisket” was cold and the ground beef was warm. She never asked again if it was good even when we inquired about how the food was made. The staff is friendly but the food is horrible. We went here on our lunch break. I was still hungry when I left, I ate a few fries and 2 bites out of the sandwich. Wasn’t a good food experience so we won’t be back.

1/3 lb ground beef, stuffed with brisket, topped with cheddar and chatted onions.... brisket was dry and pulled my burger apart. Hand cut fries were good, for the pieces that were edible. Had to send that back and just get a regular burger, which was fine. Grilled cheese and onions rings won my company over.

Just after my birthday I got together with some good friends at VZD's - besides myself one of the other ladies had been there back in the 80's - the food was great - the waitress was excellent - the piece of cake she brought us to share was big enough for 4 and we were NOT rushed out - we stayed and watch the Thunder play until half time. I loved VZD's in the 80's and still love it

This was our first time here to eat lunch. Our food was excellent but our server, Lacey, was very rude and surly. We almost asked to speak to the manager because of her attitude. We’d like to eat there again but only if we don’t have Lacey for a server again.

Very classy bar and restaurant friendly staff, amazing food, try the grilled cheese sandwich it's to die for! Not overly priced, great atmosphere, amazing retro styling immediately makes you feel like you stepped back in time... staff seemed to be on top of it from the start... no it's time to visit this place at night and see what the night life is like... I could only imagine it is more of the same quality and service. also you gotta try the chili their vegetarian chili is amazing!
